... excuse me while I catch my breath from ROFLMAO. I've always wondered what a comparison chart would look like when you throw price out the window - and now I know. I agree with the_one111: save that $1000 on buying your family food, clothes, a vacation or even another computer. Apple does not make computers for the majority of the population who factor in cost as an important component during a computer purchase... and they don't need to. Apple only needs to get a fraction of the population to pay the Apple tax to be profitable. They are comfortable in this position and that's why I don't believe they care to lower their prices anytime soon.
